DONATE/TAKE ACTION – Mental Health Resources

There is a LOT of institutional racism in the healthcare system, which includes mental healthcare. White women should not continue to be the face of mental health/mental illness.

If you are someone (like me) who has the benefit and privilege of seeing a therapist/psychologist, I strongly encourage you to send funds to these organizations. (I am providing the link to their donation page and will copy their mission below, however I encourage people to do their own research on the websites as well to learn more. I’ve linked the organization’s “about” page next to their mission/vision statement). Some of these organizations have newsletters, which I encourage you to subscribe to as well! If you see this and find something wrong/missing, email me!!!!

Note: This is not an entirely comprehensive list, and I am continuously updating it. I am mainly including organizations that people can donate to/support financially (rather than therapist directories, other resource boards, etc). If anyone is looking for one of those other resources, contact me and I can help!
